Celebration

Christmas at our church

We celebrate our Lord's Birth with a carol service one evening during Christmas week, and we have a short Christmas Day service. A warm welcome is given to join with us in celebration.

The children of the Sunday school give us their version of the nativity. The older boys and girls perform their own play. This is held on the Sunday before Christmas. Refreshments are served after the service (Mincepies Tea or Coffee)

The children of course have a Christmas party

Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews?

We saw his star in the East and have come to worship him.

They went on their way, and the star they had seen in the East went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

On coming to the house they saw the child  with  his mother Mary and they bowed down and worshipped him.

Matthew 2 verses 2: 9: and 11.
